Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present another installment of the Laugh Station series in this summer's uproarious "Laugh Station: Cuerpo". After a year in cryo-stasis, the intrepidly inebriated crew of "Laugh Station" returns for their most insane adventure yet. See where it all began in this mind altering origin story. Can our heroes save the innocent townsfolk from the clutches of a gas huffing madman? Will the top secret federation weapon be recovered in time for happy hour? Do bodily fluids really float in outer space? Find out at "Laugh Station: Cuerpo".

"Laugh Station: Cuerpo" is a series of surreal, sci-fi horror comedy episodes that began at MET in 2012 with "Laugh Station: Infinity", and the creative minds behind the project went on to produce "Laugh Station: Revelation", "Laugh Station: Papaya", and "Laugh Station: Extraction" to name a few. "Cuerpo", like the previous plays in the series will be co-written and directed by MET company member Matt Lee. Co-writer Jack Colliver will star alongside the talents of Brian Artusio, Lisa Burl, Kevin Cole, Andy Colliver, Joe Colliver, Clay Comer, Joe Jalette, Caitlyn Joy, Trevor Marin, Colin Shultzaberger, Bailey Sterling, and Matt Lee. The show will feature original music by Joe Colliver, Mac Kennedy and Trevor Marin.

Immediately following the Friday, July 31 performance, there will be a free concert (donations welcome) featuring Frederick's own Seaknuckle and Philadelphia's sonically bubonic band Vanillalord.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre will present "Laugh Station: Cuerpo" as part of its MET-X series, created to expand collective horizons of the MET ensemble and its audience. Performances are July 31 and August 1 at 9 p.m at Maryland Ensemble Theatre (31 W Patrick St. Frederick) located in the historic FSK Hotel. Tickets are $12 (Includes all ticketing fees) and may be purchased by phone at (301) 694-4744, online at marylandensemble.org, or in person at the MET box office. "Laugh Station: Cuerpo" is intended for mature audiences only.

Now in its eighteenth season, Maryland Ensemble Theatre produces thought-provoking theatre, fun family entertainment, artist residency programs for public schools, theatre camps, challenging classes, and side-splitting comedy.
