Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the second installment of the surreal, sci-fi horror extravaganza that is theLaugh Station series with Laugh Station: Turbo.  It's a brand new story of epic comedic proportions featuring brand new characters and all of your Laugh Stationfavorites from the January debut of the series, Laugh Station: Infinity. Maryland Ensemble Theatre will present Laugh Station: Turbo as part of its MET-X series, created to expand the collective horizons of the MET ensemble and its audience. Performances are April 20th and 21st at 9pm at Maryland Ensemble Theatre (31 W Patrick St. Frederick) and the show is intend for immature mature audiences only.
 
In Laugh Station: Turbo join our heroes as they explore the ancient ruins on the mysterious moon of Planet Thalia. Will The Combined wits of our intrepid adventurers be enough to thwart the unstoppable, unspeakable evil of a stalking alien menace? Is the wide-eyed, crazed jungle man with a shadowy past to be trusted? Can the crew overcome their fiendish sexual perversions and drug-inducEd Hallucinations to save the day? We guarantee a healthy dose of flame throwers, Rufinol, Garfield the Cat, high-flying choreographed musical numbers and PRIZES! If you like your space safaris doused in booze and blood, this one is for you!
 
Laugh Station: Turbo is co-written and directed by MET company member Matt Lee, who has been seen a lot this season on the MET stage. Most recently Matt was seen in the apocalyptic End Days where he played the Elvis-impersonating Nelson and earlier this season he was also featured in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues and Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them in addition to his first installation of the Laugh Station series.  The production will also feature the intergalactic talents ofBrian Artusio, Lisa Burl, Jack Colliver, Joe Colliver, Joe Jalette, Caitlyn Joy, Mac Kennedy, Trevor Marin, Colin Shultzaberger and Bailey Sterling.
 
Laugh Station: Turbo runs April 20 and 21st on the MET stage. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased by phone at (301) 694-4744, or online at marylandensemble.org, or in person at the MET box office.
 
For over a decade, Maryland Ensemble Theatre has been producing thought-provoking theatre, fun family entertainment with The Fun Company, artist residency programs for public schools, challenging classes and the side-splitting Comedy Pigs.  The MET is an artistic leader in the region and at the forefront of the creation of Frederick's Theater District.
