Community College of Baltimore County offers a variety of free or low cost special events every month for families and individuals designed to educate, inform and entertain the local community. Patrons of the arts can learn about CCBC's Performing Arts program by enjoying a dance, music or theatre production performed by students, faculty or local artists. Astrology enthusiasts can visit the Banneker Planetarium for a variety shows, including children's programs, about the solar system. Family and friends also can delight in a night of stargazing at the CCBC Dundalk Observatory's Friday Evening Star Parties.
In addition, local residents can participate in CCBC's weekly Information Sessions and Thursday Tours. There are many ways to learn about the myriad of academic programs, college and job fairs, guest lectures, travel opportunities and more accessible to the community through multiple campuses.
