The Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) in Ellicott City, Maryland, is seeking entries from artists for Art Maryland 2018, a biennial multi-media juried exhibit. The juror for Art Maryland 2018 is Cara Ober, a Baltimore-based artist, writer and founding editor ofBMoreArt, Baltimore's online art magazine and print journal.
HCAC will participate in NAHM with our exciting new public art exhibit, ARTsites 2018, on display now through July 2019 at twelve locations throughout Howard County; and with ManneqART, an exhibit celebrating sculpture on the human form, on display at the Howard County Center for the Arts through October 12. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday noon-4pm.

October 6: Columbia Orchestra presents Beethoven's Eroica. October 13: OPUS Merriweather 2018, presented by Howard Hughes Corporation. OPUS combines art, music and technology to create an enchanting evening in the forest! October 26: HoCoPoLitSo opens its 45th literary season with Ordinary Wonder: Three Poets on Writing and Reality, featuring threeMaryland poets - Michael Collier, Elizabeth Spires, and David Yezzi - with new, acclaimed collections. 7:30pm. $5 suggested donation.
