The Howard County Center for the Arts has announced that registration is now open for their 21st Annual Cultural Arts Showcase. The showcase is a great opportunity for Local PTAs, community organizations and civic groups to preview performing and visual artists for residencies, workshops and performances. Over 45 artists will present excerpts of their programs and many more groups will be on-site with information and displays.
The Cultural Arts Showcase lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on March 4th and 5th and is held at the Howard County Center for the Arts. Fees include Showcase, lunch, resource materials, and an Artist Directory, which lists the contact information for all of the presenters. This is a great opportunity to preview & book the best talent for your organization.
Overseen by the Howard County Arts Council, the Howard County Center for the Arts is a multi-purpose arts facility in Ellicott City, where visitors can take a class, view an exhibit, or enjoy a performance. In bringing the arts to life in our community, the Howard County Center for the Arts encourages people with diverse interests and backgrounds to explore and enjoy the arts.
For Cultural Arts Showcase registration, visit our Special Projects page at www.hocoarts.org. The deadline to register is February 26, 2010. Showcase is sponsored by HCAC, the Recreation and Leisure Services (RALS) Branch of the Maryland Recreation and Parks Association, and Howard County Recreation & Parks.
