Howard City Arts Council Seeks Volunteers for 3/26 Celebration & Gala

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking volunteers to assist at the annual 14th Celebration of the Arts and 30th Anniversary Gala on March 26, 2011at Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, Howard Community College, Columbia. Volunteers are needed for various opportunities including Reception, Raffle Ticket Sales, Performance, Membership, Silent Auction, General Set-up, etc. This is a great opportunity to get involved and support one of the signature art events in Howard County while having fun at the same time!

The Celebration is a multi-faceted signature event, showcasing and promoting the arts and raising funds in support of the arts, artists and arts organizations in Howard County. This gala evening, features a reception from 6-8pm with a silent auction, food from area restaurants and caterers and musical performances. At 8 p.m., the show begins inside the Smith Theatre and on view in the Screening Club with the presentation of the Howie Awards and the Rising Star Competition!
