Glass Mind Theatre's interactive Brainstorm festival returns! The production will morph into a one-night-only Pub Lab edition for Brainstorm 4: Of Myth and Legend. Local artists come together for an infusion of monologues, scenes and more generated from the ideas suggested by friends and supporters of the company.

Based on our season theme of "Classics Resketched", Glass Mind asked supporters to Facebook, Tweet or e-mail us the classic characters or personas they'd like to see inspire a new piece of art. Liam Flynn's Ale House s hosts the one-time event on Sunday, January 27 at 7pm. The company will be joined by such personas as Boris & Natasha from hit show "Rocky & Bullwinkle," Hal 9000, Aaron Burr, Nurse Ratched, Les Miserables' Javert and more!

Glass Mind's Artistic Director, Andrew Peters, will direct the festival. I'm really excited to bring the atmosphere and energy of our Brainstorm festival to Liam Flynn's Ale House," he says. " I'm glad to take Performance Kitchen's and CENTERSTAGE's Pub Lab concept into new territory with a one-night-only play fest. Bars are where we go to share stories about all sorts of characters, so it's fitting to take a festival inspired by classic characters and really feed off of that pub setting."
Baltimore Performance Kitchen and CENTERSTAGE have joined forces to create a platform for Baltimore performing artists and companies to showcase, workshop, and explore new artistic ideas-beer in hand. These events are all held at Liam Flynn's Ale House, 22 W. North Avenue, and are free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary, but please arrive early to buy a beverage and snag a primo seat.

The night features a cast of GMT company members and friends. The playwrights are: Peter Davis, Brent Englar, Jessica Murphy Garrett, Kate Gillespie, Sarah Ford Gorman, Andrew Patrick and Rebecca Wyrick.
