What secrets do you keep? Do you keep them from or for the ones you love? An examination of marriage and the unraveling of a young couple, And Underneath the Moon introduces us to Joshua and Olivia as they struggle to start their life together. Through home movies and dreams that never come to light, Sarah Ford  Gorman's evocative drama digs deep into the secrets that are held in even the tightest of bonds, and the reasons that they can never be revealed.

Glass Mind brings you this world-premiere from the company's Associate Artistic Director Gorman, who  played Maggie in Glass Mind's production of Den of Thieves. And Underneath the Moon features four newcomers to Glass Mind. Alix Fenhagen and Andrew Porter are central couple Olivia and Joshua, and Gregory Jericho and Caroline Kiebach are Joshua's brother and sister-in-law Max and Emily. Glass Mind's Managing Director Lynn Morton will direct.
Morton expresses how the piece resonates with her. "There is a lot of pressure to find the 'right one' and settle down to create the perfect family unit," she says. "Olivia and Josh struggle with being so close to their idea of being the perfect family, yet it's not quite  there."

"The world's ideas of what makes a family unit is changing, yet buried deep within our culture is the urge to live up to the 1950's picturesque version of the nuclear family," Morton states. How do we maintain a sense of what we want and balance that with outside expectations?"

And Underneath the Moon runs from December 2 to December 18, on Fridays,  Saturdays and Sundays.  at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. All performances will be at the LOF/t, 120 W. North Avenue. Tickets can be purchased  here. They are $12 general, and $8 for artists, students and seniors. Complimentary tickets are available for press.

Join the company for events surrounding the production! Keep your eyes pealed for details on our Post Secret on Saturday December 10 and a drive for Project PLASE. Now tradition, Glass Mind will hold a Closing Performance Potluck after the December 18 performance.
