Fells Point Corner Theatre presents PUBLIC AFFAIRS as their first show of our 2014 - 2015 season, September 12-October 4, 2014. It is written by A.R. Gurney and directed by veteran director/writer/performer, Lynda McClary, PUBLIC AFFAIRS, two one-act comedies.

When the study of classical literature harbors a lusty romance novel...when your last meeting was fraught with Freudian tension...A.R. Gurney was there! Public Affairs blows the lid off the private lives of everyone. In two One-Act comedies, Gurney happily shares the inner workings of our desires to get what we want. Classrooms and meetings are ripe for the absurdity of sexual power struggles - and full of laughs.

Director, Lynda McClary is a writer, actor and director, who has been involved in television, film and theatre for over fifty years as an artist and advocate. She directed FPCT's critically acclaimed production of The Iceman Cometh, which was named the #1 theatre performance of 2012 by City Paper. She also pioneered the British Panto for Baltimore audiences for 2 seasons - writing the script and lyrics for the second. Lynda has had the privilege of performing on many stages, including the stages at FPCT. She was most recently seen here at FPCT in Circle Mirror Transformation and Superior Donuts.
Featured in the cast are Andrea Bush, Tony Colavito, Caroline Kiebach, Andrew Porter and Cherie Weinert
