Fells Point Corner Theatre Stages HEINIE GOOCHEMS, Now thru 7/27

Fells Point Corner Theatre presents HEINIE GOOCHEMS by Larry Malkus. Directed by Raine Bode, the show will run today, July 17-27, 2014.

An original comedy, written by veteran Baltimore actor Larry Malkus, Heinie Goochems is the story of Junior, a 40 year-old man, who, after being laid off from his marketing job, finds himself thrust into the role of stay-at-home dad. Junior's wife, Kelly, the new breadwinner of the family, wants another baby, and their basement tenant, Carlos, seems to be growing something down there. When a handsome concierge veterinarian shows up to perform a procedure on the family cat, things don't go quite as expected.

Heinie Goochems is directed by Raine Bode, who has directed numerous productions for a wide range of theater companies in Baltimore, Washington, and New York City including LaMaMa ETC, Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, DC Fringe Festival, University of Baltimore Spotlight Series and The Stillpointe Theatre Initiative.

Featured in the cast are Marianne Germaine, Sean Kelly, Laura Malkus, Shelly Petersen, Rachel Reckling, Anthony Scimonelli, Bode Scott, and Jason Tinney.
