Everyman Theatre has announced that its annual Winter Gala will take the form of a "Rhythm and Blues Ball" this year. The annual fundraiser will take place at The Lord Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, January 10th from 6PM to midnight. All proceeds from the Ball benefit Everyman Theatre's productions and education programs.
The Gala will honor the Rubell Family, owners of The Lord Baltimore Hotel and founders of the Rubell Family Collection, one of the leading collections of contemporary art in the world. The Rubells believe deeply that the key to economic success of a city is dependent on its cultural relevance. Their transformation of The Lord Baltimore Hotel indicates the beginning of what is sure to be a long-term commitment to the cultural life of Baltimore City.
The Ball will also celebrate the Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District. Everyman is a proud member of the District, which was established in July 2012 and is home to a diverse range of cultural organizations, visual and performing artists, businesses, dining options and residents.
The evening will include dinner, dancing and a live auction - all in the beautiful and historic Lord Baltimore Hotel. Charm City's own soul and R&B sensation Bosley will take the stage to provide music and entertainment for the party. Bosley was seen last spring at Everyman's Vino Festa event.
For the first time, the Winter Gala will also include an "After Party." The After Party will take place from 9:30PM to midnight and will include dancing, music and dessert.
Individual tickets for the entire event are $325. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $750. Tickets to the After Party are $75 ($55 early-bird tickets are available before December 12th). Tickets are on sale and may be purchased by visiting www.everymantheatre.org.
Kirby Fowler of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and Diane Cho of Cho Benn Holback & Associates are co-chairs of the event.
Everyman Theatre's 2015 Winter Gala is generously sponsored by BGE, ATAPCO, Cho Benn Holback & Associates, Bank of America and Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
