Everyman Theater is proud to present Michael Weller's FIFTY WORDS, a suspenseful, nightlong roller-coaster ride displaying the perils of matrimony. Fear ignites, hope defers, and passion is found again - all in the name of intimacy. FIFTY WORDS will run through Feb. 19.

FIFTY WORDS brings together long time company members Clinton Brandhagen, fresh off his Broadway turn in Master Class with Tyne Daly, and Megan Anderson, last seen on the Everyman stage in All My Sons.

"Megan and Clint's years of acting together serve as the perfect training ground for portraying a couple with such a conflicted and intricate history," says Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi.

Playwright Michael Weller is no stranger to seasoned theatre-goers. From his earliest success, Moonchildren, Weller has vividly explored intimacy and emotional truth in his plays. Other works include Loose Ends and Spoils of War.

In FIFTY WORDS, Weller pries open the door of a New York City Brownstone so that we may glimpse into a modern day marriage on the brink, demanding answers to questions such as "How do relationships survive in the face of adversity?" And, "How do we maintain control of our lives? Of our family?"

"FIFTY WORDS is a hard hitting, deeply human story about how relationships survive," says Vincent Lancisi. "This is a serious play for the seasoned artist and audience member."
