After months of waiting the secret is finally revealed...Dundalk Community Theatre will concluded its 41st season with that finger snapping family many of us grew up with, The Addams Family. Who could forget the words used to describe them: "They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky!" This much anticipate musical tells a new tale in the life of the Addams as their little girl Wednesday grows up and finds love. The show runs from May 1st to May 10th. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.
The Addams Family is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The characters are based on Charles Addams gag cartoons depicting a ghoulish family with an affinity for all things macabre. Little Wednesday has grown up and brings home her, hopefully, soon to be husband. Morticia and Gomez are not over pleased when they discover he is a "normal" and bringing his "normal" family to dinner. Chaos ensues as secrets are revealed. Is there life for an Addams and a "normal"?
