Dundalk Community Theatre Presents SHREK: THE MUSICAL

Dundalk Community Theatre concludes it 2017 season with the family musical comedy "SHREK" from April 28th - May 7th with a special family friendly 2pm matinee show added onSaturday May 6th. Individual tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for senior adults and $17 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

Shrek: The Musical is based on the 2001 DreamWorks film "Shrek". This adaptation is sure to please any Shrek fan. It is the same ole story, Ogre meets Princess, Ogre loses Princess, and everyone sings, "I'm a Believer" at the end. In addition, the beloved characters who live in Duloc, such as Pinocchio, The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Big Bad Wolf, The White Rabbit, Humpty Dumpty..., get to sing some great songs too.

The Cast: Dickie Mahoney (Shrek), Sherry Benedek (Fiona), Gary Dieter (Donkey), Peter Crews (Farquaad). Ensemble: Alice Scanlon, Amy Sacks, Andrea Wildason, Anna Adelstein, Anne Acerno, Chris Gonzalez, Corinne Weaver, Danielle Easley, Diane Maistros, Emily Morgan, Hunter Lubawsk,i Jackie Hanson, Jason Vellon, John Machovec, Josh Schoff, Julie Wadey, Juliet Jones, Kendra Keiser, Laura May, Lauren Stuart, Lisa Pastella ,Lisa Rigsby, Lucy Blumbert, Mark Lloyd, Matt Wolffe, Michael Maistros, Neyla Mae Kuhn, Rebecca Eastman,, Sydney Phipps Tod Wildason, Tracey Bonds, Tracey Zimmerman, Veronica Lockett, Victoria Muccioli ,Vince Musgrave, and Wayne Ivusich. Creative team: Director: John Desmone; Musical Director: Nathan Scavilla; Choreographer: Vincent Musgrave and Scenic/Lighting/Sound & Technical Direction: Marc W. Smith.

Show times are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday - April 28th - May 7th in the John E. Ravekes Theatre, K Building. Saturday May 6th has an added 2pm Matinee. Community Theatre is a program of the college, providing high-quality live theatre experiences for the entire family at affordable prices. Tom Colonna, a veteran actor and director, serves as The Managing Director for DCT. DCT is in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, , 7200 Sollers Point Road.
