Cockpit In Court Summer Theatre kicks off its Forty-Fifth season with style. The main stage theatre will be named after founding Artistic Director, F. Scott Black, in June. To honor this event, F Scott Black is directing the classic dark comedy Arsenic and Old Lace, in the main stage theatre. This will be the first play on the main stage at Cockpit in Court patrons have been able to see in years. Individual tickets are $22 adults, $20 senior adults, and $14 for students and Children 12 & under. Performances are June 9th through June 25th.

Arsenic and Old Lace revolves around Mortimer Brewster, his bride to be Elaine Harper and the twisted Brewster family. Mortimer returns to his family home after his wedding to break the news to Aunt's Abby & Martha, who raised him and his brother Teddy, who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt. During the course of events, Mortimer discovers that his loving aunts have developed a "very bad habit" of ending the lives of men they presume are suffering of lonely old bachelorhood. Things get even more complicated when his other brother Jonathan, who resembles Boris Karloff, shows up. Jonathan, too, has been up to no good and is looking for a place to hide from the police. Mortimer tries to remain sane amidst all the insanity and resolve the situation, while also attempting to go on his honeymoon.

The cast consists of Joan Crooks (Martha), Carol Evans (Abby), Darren McDonnell (Mortimer), Kristin Miller (Elaine), Greg Guyton (Jonathan), Thomas Rinaldi (Teddy), Dale Trott (Dr. Einstein), Richard Ahlstrom (Mr. Gibbs), John Dignam (Lt. Rooney), Rick Arnold (Officer Brophy), Leonard Gilbert (Officer Klein), Nathan Rosen (Officer O'Hara), Dave Guy (Mr. Witherspoon), and J.R. Lyston (Rev Dr. Harper).
