Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from page to stage in Robert and Willie Reale's joyous musical, A Year With Frog and Toad. The musical follows two great friends – the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons with their woodland friends. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, including a most important one about friendship and rejoicing in the attributes that make each of us different and special. The show made history by bringing children's theater to Broadway for the first time.

The J Building Lecture Hall at CCBC Essex is a wheelchair-accessible facility, but patrons should request accommodation at the time of ticket purchase.
