Children's Playhouse Of Maryland presents SCROOGE THE MUSICAL ImageChildren's Playhouse of MD (CPM), in residence at CCBC Essex, proudly presents Scrooge, The Musical. This production features 30 student actors from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Harford County.

Matthew Trulli of Abingdon appears as Scrooge with Brian Kraft of Nottingham as Bob Crachit, Ava Correlli (Baltimore) as his wife and Colton Roberts (Parkville) as Tiny Tim. Also featured are Brooke Henshaw of Towson, Ryann Nicole Reich of Edgewood, and Jacqueline Hicks of Baltimore as Christmas Past, Present and Future. Based on Charles Dickens' famous book, A Christmas Carol, and the 1970 film Scrooge, this musical was nominated for an Academy Award. In the familiar plot, the miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his partner Jacob Marley as well as three other apparitions from Christmases past, present and future. He has to face his ill-treatment of others and redeem himself.
