Chesapeake Shakespeare Company to Stage ROMEO AND JULIET on Easter

Join Chesapeake Shakespeare Company on Easter, Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m. for the classic love story, Romeo and Juliet, performed as a family-friendly 90-minute matinee in the company's gorgeous Downtown theatre. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

Thrilling sword fights, sumptuous costumes, live music, and Shakespeare's poetic storytelling will delight all ages. Meet the actors after the play for audience talk-back and selfies.

All tickets only $15, with general admission seating. The PNC Family Room (with costumes and art supplies) will be open for Shakespeare's youngest fans. Don't miss it! This will be our only Romeo and Juliet performance open to the general public this spring!

With generous support from individuals and companies, the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company performs Romeo and Juliet weekday mornings from March through May for more than 7,000 of the region's school children. For many, it is a first experience of a professional Shakespeare performance, and for some, a first visit to a theater.
