In conjunction with Maryland Humanities' celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prizes, Chautauqua 2016 at CCBC Catonsville brings history to life with portrayals of three prominent artists who won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize:
Friday, July 8 - Musician and composer Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington (1899-1974) will be portrayed Tevin Brown.
Saturday, July 9 - Poet Gwendolyn Elizabeth Brooks (1917-2000), the first African-American to win a Pulitzer Prize, is being portrayed by Dorothy Mains Prince.
Sunday, July 10 - Author Ernest Miller Hemingway (1899 -1961) will be portrayed by Brian Gordon Sinclair.
