Centerstage Offers Pay-What-You-Can to MLK Day Performances of THE MOUNTAINTOP

In celebration of DR. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, CENTERSTAGE will be having a special performance of The Mountaintop at 7:30 pm. In order to make this performance affordable and accessible, 100 Pay What You Can tickets for that performance will be made available on January 4 and 5.

Prior to the production, CENTERSTAGE welcomes one and all to a special celebration of two historic events: the life and legacy of DR. Martin Luther King Jr. and the inauguration of President Barak Obama with "Living the Dream: From King to Obama." Performances and speeches from Baltimore's local youth performing arts groups will explore and reflect on Dr. King's dream and continuing his work of racial equality. A light reception will follow the performance. The performance begins at 5 pm and is free and open to the public.

Pay What You Can tickets for the January 21 performance of The Mountaintop will be available January 4 and 5, and are available at the Box Office, in person only. The Box Office opens at 10 am on Friday, January 4, and at 12 pm on Saturday, January 5. More information can be found at www.centerstage.org/boxoffice.

As he unwinds and prepares, a visit from a hotel maid offers welcome diversion and a challenging new perspective-but also raises profound and surprising questions.
