4-5 p.m. Excellent Productions - excerpts from the musical "In His Name", written by local playwright Ramona Jones,this marvelous musical stage play introduces today's generation to the beginnings of Gospel music in America; by following the trials and triumphs of a female gospel group from the mid 1950's to 1970. Filled with all original music and wonderful emotional performances, this production, will have you shouting, crying and falling out of your seat.
5-6 p.m. On The Road Theatre - excerpts from "The Invisible Us" by Michael Harding.Why must God be invisible? Why would God allow bad things to happen? Another story about the Hobbs Family; their failures, their mistakes, and how these failures became successes.

12-1 p.m. The Playwrights Group of Baltimore presents - selections from "The Eight Ball Plays" - a series of ten minute plays united around the theme of "Eight Ball". We are a group of playwrights who meet twice a month to share and critique our playwriting. We learn from each other and from invited noted playwrights. Winters Lane seeks to bring its visionary spirit, steeped in a commitment to diversity and community to Washington DC with the area premiere of the groundbreaking musical. RENT is very much a theatrical embodiment of this company - a celebration of the beauty and energy of a modern arts organization. It's millennial approach to race, age and gender reflects the community of artists from RENT's East Village.
5-6 p.m. Strand Theatre - excerpts from "Mercy Seat", Neil LaBute's unflinching fascination with the often-brutal realities of the war between the sexes. In a time of national tragedy, a man and a woman explore the choices now available to them in an existence different from the one they had lived just The Day Before.
