Baltimore Shakespeare Factory Welcomes New Education Director

Baltimore Shakespeare Factory (BSF) is delighted to announce that Jonas David Grey is joining the company as the new Education Director. He will be responsible for creating and expanding new education programs for BSF.

Jonas David Grey holds a B.A. in English literature, with an emphasis on the works of Shakespeare, from the College of Charleston. Following his studies, he completed a dual internship in Acting and Education at New Stage Theatre in Jackson, MS, and a summer residency with the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival. Known mostly as an actor, Jonas spent a significant portion of his early career directing both modern and classic works. In the past several years, he has worked as an acting coach and teaching artist, leading summer camps, student productions and classroom workshops in both Chicago and Baltimore.

He has been involved extensively in the Baltimore/Washington theater scene as guest director for at Cohesion Theatre Company and as an actor in productions for Silver Spring Stage, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, The Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre, and the Jewish Theatre Workshop. We welcome this talented and experienced actor and educator.
