ArtsCentric's "It's a Wonderful Life" tells the story of George Bailey, by transitioning scenes between past and present day. In a flashback, George is seen abandoning his big dreams for the good of his town, Bedford Falls. In the present, we find George feeling broken and suicidal on Christmas Eve over the misplacement of an $80,000 cash-loan. Bailey's guardian angel Clarence, falls to Earth, literally, and shows George how his town, family, and friends would turn out if he had never been born. George means so much to so many people; should he really throw it all away? An original take on the American holiday classic, ArtsCentric's "It's A Wonderful Life" is, in the words of director Kevin McAllister, " a play that deals with modern definitions of family and community. The show will feature a talented multi-cultural cast, and explores what it means to come together in times of crisis, and to see the basic humanity in your fellow man." Supporters may also peruse the website to learn about participating in ArtsCentric's Ticket Donation Program, designed to enable individuals to attend the show, who do not otherwise have the means.

"ArtsCentric...enhancing the lives of others, one audience at a time."
