Adventure Theatre MTC Honors Seth Goldman, Co-Founder Of Honest Tea

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), recipient of 57 Helen Hayes Nominations, is proud to announce that it will honor Seth Goldman, Co-Founder and TeaEO Emeritus of Honest Tea and Executive Chairman of Beyond Meats, at its Annual Gala on March 14, 2019. With over 67 years of inspiring new generations of theatre artists and audiences with exceptional theatrical experiences, Adventure Theatre MTC recognizes Mr. Goldman's achievements in children's physical health and wellbeing and his commitment to social responsibility through organic and fair-trade certified products.

Seth Goldman founded Honest Tea out of his home in 1998 with Barry Nalebuff of the Yale School of Management. Today, Honest Tea is the nation's top-selling organic bottled tea and is carried in more than 130,000 outlets. Under his leadership, Honest Tea developed innovative partnerships with its organic and Fair Trade Certified suppliers. In 2007, his interest in providing low sugar beverages expanded to children with Honest Kids, a lower-calorie juice sweetened only with fruit juice. He now splits his time between Honest Tea and Beyond Meat, where he is the Executive Chairman of the Board. A graduate of Harvard College (1987) and the Yale School of Management (1995), Goldman was awarded the Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. He and Nalebuff are the authors of the New York Times bestseller Mission in a Bottle, a business book told in comic book form, which was published in September 2013.
