Shadowlands, the unlikely and true love story of renowned Oxford scholar and Christian apologist C.S. It was recently announced that three-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters will take over as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly!, opposite Victor Garber as Horace Vandergelder. Ms. Peters will begin performances Saturday evening, January 20, 2018, prior to a Thursday, February 22 opening night. It was recently announced that Carousel will begin performances at the Imperial Theatre next spring, starring Betsy Wolfe as Carrie Pipperidge, Alexander Gemignani as Enoch Snow, and Margaret Colin as Mrs. Mullin. This is in addition to the previous casting announcement that includes  Joshua Henry as Billy Bigelow, Jessie Mueller as Julie Jordan, Renee Fleming as Nettie Fowler, Amar Ramasar as Jigger, and Brittany Pollock as Louise. Public Works is presenting a reimagined musical adaptation of the Shakespeare classic As You Like It, September 1-5 at the Delacorte Theatre. Rebecca Naomi Jones, who plays Rosalind in this production, recently chatted with BroadwayWorld about her experiences working on the show, why she loves doing Shakespeare, and what she finds so magical about Public Works. Taylor Trensch, currently starring on Broadway in Hello, Dolly!, will star as the title character in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, beginning mid-January 2018, following his run in Hello, Dolly!. Noah Galvin, fresh off the starring role in ABC's 'The Real O'Neals,' will play the role of Evan Hansen, beginning November 21, 2017 until Trensch begins performances on Broadway in mid-January. On August 20, the casts of Broadway's Aladdin and Miss Saigon came together to swap songs, sing show tunes, and raise money for a friend in need. The show entitled Show/Swap was presented by Telly Leung and Billy Bustamante, and featured hits from Miss Saigon, Aladdin, Les Miserables, Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, and more.

On Your Feet, the Gloria Estefan bio-musical closes today, August 20, after a nearly two year run at the Marquis Theatre. The show will launch a national tour this fall, with plans to also run abroad.

CELLOS, music's most electric and dynamic instrumental duo, released a new cover video for 'Despacito', this summer's hottest single remixed by Justin Beiber, Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi. The video was filmed on July 8th in Zagreb, Croatia at a local bar just around the corner from the studio. The audio track is also available now via all download / streaming services.

According to USA Today, the first trailer for The Snowman has been released and it is as chilling as expected. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Norwegian author Jo Nesbø, the story centers around lead crime detective detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) who investigates an elusive serial killer who calls himself the Snowman Killer.

Following the lead of many other Broadway musicals such as Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, and Great Comet, cast members from Groundhog Day have decided to take part in the #Ham4All challenge -- but with a twist! Instead of the typical cover of a Hamilton track, the Groundhog Day cast decided to make a mashup music video with the backbone being My Shot and incorporating lyrics and melodies from songs from their own show.
