Henning Rübsam's SENSEDANCE Rescheduled For this Coming SundayJanuary 15, 2013Due to Hurricane Sandy, the last day of performances for Henning Rübsam's SENSEDANCE were canceled. The new re-scheduled performances are this coming Sunday, January 20th, at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Salvatore Capezio Theater at Peridance, 126 East 13th Street, NYC.. The company will present two premieres celebrating Henning's 21st year as founding artistic director of his ensemble. The premieres will include, 'obsession | calm' and 'Brahms Dances'. Also on the program will be a reprise of 'Petit Pas' as a tribute to the late Neil Armstrong, whose voice is featured in the work; and 'HALF-LIFE 102'. The Dancers for the season are: Cynthia Dragoni, Erin Ginn, Temple Kemezis, Maria Phegan, Jacqueline Stewart, Uthman Ebrahim, Oisín Monaghan, Juan Rodriguez, Matt Van, and Henning Rübsam.
FSPA Little Music School Slates Piano Recitals, 1/27January 15, 2013Little Music School (LMS) students, ages 18 months to 6 years old, will perform piano recitals on Sunday, January 27 at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA).
