My review will focus on the solo actor in the play- Eyal Shechter. Solo plays tend to fail for lack of energy. There are a lot of reasons for this - none of them particularly justifiable. So I was surprised by Cain - for a long time I had not seen a Solo play so convincing, so unique, so real.

In Israel, the theater has become an old people's home. Sorry for the honesty. Young people, it seems, have long ago abandoned the theater. And the reason is clear- they are afraid. King Ubu, wants to bring the young people back to the theater - and he is going to succeed.
