Apple TV+ has unveiled the video trailer for “The Big Door Prize,” the character driven comedy created by Emmy Award-winner David West Read, and starring an ensemble cast led by Chris O’Dowd. The new 10-episode half-hour comedy, set for its premiere this month at SXSW, will debut globally with the first three episodes.

Along with the score, for which Michaelson collaborated with composers/producers Gabriel Mann and Juan Ariza, she wrote and recorded a new song for the series, titled “Not Gone,” that will be featured in the finale episode, as well as an exclusive cover of the Indigo Girls favorite, “Closer to Fine,” which will be featured in the premiere episode.

Paris-based three piece Oracle Sisters share brand new single “RBH,” the third track to be taken from their long awaited debut album Hydranism, due via US label 22TWENTY. Psych-rock band Hooveriii have been confirmed as the direct support for Mudhoney on their forthcoming tour of the U.S. The dates kick off October 13 in Spokane, WA and conclude with a 2-night stand in Seattle, WA on November 18 and 19.  Along the way the tour hits Chicago, New York City, and Dallas, TX.

Back by popular demand Panchiko announced last month their first new album in over two decades, Failed at Math(s), followed by an expansive U.S. spring tour, kicking off May 7 in Seattle, and running through June 4 in Chicago [all dates below]. They have shared the first title-track single from the album, along with an accompanying video.

Set in a school hall the cinematic experience begins with JGrrey joining the rest of the cast (Suhaiyla, Bel, Louisa, Shak, Kurtis, Sarah & Naissa) in a support group before it breaks into violence.

Dave Lombardo will release his debut solo album, Rites of Percussion. The 13-track collection, previewed with the release of “Journey of the Host,' is the result of a 40-year career that saw Lombardo rise to prominence as a co-founder of Slayer, earn two GRAMMY-Awards, and expand his repertoire across genres.

Because McMicken’s previous band, Dr. Dog, was composed of lifelong friends who over time developed an unbreakable musical bond, he decided to try something totally different this time: He told producer Nick Kinsey to choose his future bandmates himself, selecting a group of total strangers who could collaborate on these songs.

Paris-based artist-producer NxxxxxS (pronounced 'N-Five X-S”) teams up with Canadian rapper Freddie Dredd for his new single “Slump”, alongside the announcement of his new album Short Term Agreement via Because Music/Mad Decent. It follows the Phonk-infused outing “HEAD! SHOT!”, a genre that NxxxxxS has helped spearhead into the masses.

“Mi Gran Dolor” is backed by a video directed by Ana Karen with the help of Alejandra Genco and Christian Moreno of Catorce Fotogramas. The video was produced by Guillermo Berbeyer and Ana Karen in the Presa de la Olla area in the city of Guanajuato, and on the hills of Santa Rosa.
