Brutal Panda Recordswill release 'Live Bait', the debut EP from Denver, CO’s NIGHT FISHING. Comprised of four seasoned Rocky Mountain Road Dogs (members of Call of the Void, Green Druid, Abrams, Muscle Beach), NIGHT FISHING exist to explore the boundaries of improvisation, mood and structure within the realms of heavy, instrumental sound. 

Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, co-host Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson are the first round of superstars added to the lineup, joining previously announced performers Carrie Underwood and co-host Kane Brown & wife Katelyn Brown at the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS.

BLUES ALIVE AT SEA IX will feature live performances and unforgettable collaborations by such blues-rock icons as Joe Bonamassa, Grace Potter, Black Country Communion, Marshall Tucker Band, John Oates, King King, Jimmy Vivino, Jackie Venson, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Daddy Long Legs, Jack Barksdale, with many more to be announced.

It was announced that XYZ Films has acquired North American rights to Franklin Ritch’s critically acclaimed sci-fi film THE ARTIFICE GIRL, following its US premiere at South by Southwest Film Festival. The film stars Tatum Matthews (THE WALTONS: HOMECOMING), Lance Henriksen (ALIENS), Sinda Nichols, David Girard, and Ritch.

HGTV has picked up What’s Wrong With That House?, a new series featuring popular Home Inspector Joe stars Joe Mazza and his go-to designer Noel Gatts. During the eight-episode series, Joe, a licensed home inspector with more than 20 years of construction experience, will help clients uncover and repair any hidden issues in their homes.

The Beach Boys members Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Mike Love, David Marks, and Brian Wilson are featured guests. In addition to the musical performances, the special features appearances by Drew Carey, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Jam, Elton John, Harvey Mason jr., Bruce Springsteen, and John Stamos. Performers include John Legend, Pentatonix, and more.

The newly announced dates begin September 16 at Detroit, MI’s Masonic Temple Theatre and include Santa Barbara, CA’s Santa Barbara Bowl (September 29) and two-night stands at Oakland, CA’s Fox Theater (September 25-26) and Morrison, CO’s world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre (October 5-6).

The West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival, Aftershock, grows even more in 2023 with its most packed lineup yet offering 95-plus bands over four full days, led by headliners Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn. The destination event, held at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA, builds on last year’s record-setting success.

On Friday night ¿Téo? played to a sold-out room at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg and tonight he continues his headline North American “Sol & Luna” tour with a stop in Montreal for a show at Bar Le Ritz. The tour concludes in San Francisco on March 29 with a sold-out show at the Rickshaw Stop.

The first Wicked movie will be released earlier than expected! Harrison announces his self-produced third album Birds, Bees, The Clouds & The Trees. Birds, Bees, The Clouds & The Trees demonstrates the evolution of the Toronto-based artist’s sound since releasing his first two albums, as well as Harrison’s recent composition work on video games (Nintendo Switch’s LOUD) and commercials (NERF, Play-Doh).

The track was produced by the legendary Academy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Keith Thomas (Selena, Vanessa Williams, Amy Grant, Whitney Houston to name a few.) This single brings a blend of the intense emotions of anger and frustration that can occur through an ugly break up.

Produced by Gordon, recorded by longtime collaborator Jared Slomoff, and mixed by GRAMMY® Award-winning engineer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, The War on Drugs), Flying Games is heralded by the premiere of the high velocity new single, “Tilting,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services.

At night, Angel and Madeline went Herping (a term used by herpetologists to describe looking for snakes and amphibians) along the empty roads near Las Cruces. The asphalt retains heat from the day, and the snakes absorb the warmth by writhing across the pavement. They found rattlesnakes, roadkill, and orb-weaver spiders.

The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios. Hussell’s band on the album features bass player Tim Lefrebvre (David Bowie, The Black Crowes, Tedeschi Trucks Band), who also produced the album. Sonically, the LP features a grab bag of loop-based funk and psychedelic synth rock, tinged with comedic elements.

E! founder and fellow Brooklynite Larry Namer presented the 2023 Icon Award honoring Paul to his widow Dee Dee Sorvino.  The special award presentation was planned well in advance of Tinseltown's big night. Sadly, the actor was overlooked in the official 'In Memoriam' portion of  the Oscars telecast.

Previously released on his self-titled project Eshu Tune, “Veneers” is reinvented with additional vocals from fellow alternative hip-hop strongholds; Danny Brown offers his signature esoteric bars while Houston rap legend Paul Wall provides the hook. The remix is accompanied by a psychedelic video directed by Kris Merc and edited by Michael Reuter.
