9x GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer Brandi Carlile will perform a special show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl alongside surprise guests on Saturday, October 14. The newly confirmed show adds to yet another triumphant year for Carlile, who held her once-in-a-lifetime “Echoes Through The Canyon” event this past weekend.

The EP was performed and recorded as part of Gibson Guitars’ “The Songbook” series. Nikki Monninger of the band shares, “this was the first time we had the pleasure of collaborating with Gibson for their series. After building so many layers on the album it felt great to strip these songs down to their rawest form.”

MEO Kalorama confirm that Blur will perform on the first day of the festival. The full line-up consists of 40% female artists, solo or in bands that are part of or led by women. The LGBTQI community will be represented as well as 16 national artists, including 4 local artists, from the Chelas é o Sítio collective.

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae confirms her years-in-the-making Black Rainbows project. Inspired by the objects and artworks collected by Theaster Gates at the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago, the work includes a collection of songs, a book Refraction/Reflection of the Arts Bank photographed by Koto Bolofo.
