On May 11, Feinstein's/54 Below will welcome back Broadway's beloved leading man Howard McGillin, best known for his record breaking run as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, a role he played longer than any actor in Broadway history. Marking his second solo performance at Feinstein's/54 Below, Howard will create an unforgettable evening of romance, beauty, and excitement with songs from Broadway and the American songbook. McGillin's other acclaimed leading roles on Broadway have included Gigi, She Loves Me, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Anything Goes.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.

Fresh from her critically acclaimed performance in Allegiance on Broadway, Lea Salonga takes the stage at Feinstein's/54 Below (April 12-17) for a highly anticipated NYC cabaret return. Called 'golden-voiced' by Variety, Salonga smartly weaves together a set list of her favorite standards, go-to pop tunes, and Broadway ballads. This trio of piano, guitar, and voice ensures an intimate experience with a true Broadway icon.

Charlie Cox, Heather Lind, Geneva Carr, and Morgan Spector will soon star in Nick Payne's new play INCOGNITO at Manhattan Theatre Club. Tony winner Doug Hughes(THE FATHER, DOUBT, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR) will take the helm. INCOGNITO will begin its limited run on Tuesday, May 3 ahead of an official opening night of May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The Dramatists Guild Fund presented their Madge Evans and Sidney Kingsley Award to actress Audra McDonald and playwright Craig Lucas just last night. McDonalad was unable to attend the event due to her SHUFFLE ALONG schedule, but the show went on and BroadwayWorld was also there for the festivities. Check out photos below!

Cirque du Soleil Theatrical will soon present Cirque du Soleil -PARAMOUR, the organization's first production created specifically for Broadway. PARAMOUR will begin previews on Saturday, April 16, 2016 and open on Broadway on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). The company met the press yesterday and you can go inside the special preview below!

Actress and filmmaker Rita Gam passed away earlier this month from respiratory failure. She was 88 years old. Gam was born Rita MacKay in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Belle (Fately), who was born in Romania, and Milton A. MacKay, who was born in Alsace-Lorraine, to parents from Romania. She took on the surname of her stepfather, Russian-born Benjamin Gam. Gam was raised in New York City.

PARAMOUR will begin previews on Saturday, April 16, 2016 and open on Broadway on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).
