William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and RICHARD III, which delighted audiences and broke all box office records in London's West End earlier this year, will open Sunday, November 10 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street). Twelfth Night and Richard III, which are directed by Tim Carroll, designed by Jenny Tiramani and with music by Claire van Kampen, will play a limited engagement for 16 weeks. The Pre-Broadway World Premiere run of the highly anticipated new musical Beautiful-The Carole King Musical just concluded its sold out at San Francisco's SHN Curran Theatre on October 20, 2013. The show will begin performances on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43 Street) on November 21, 2013 and officially opens on January 12, 2014. Today, we're featuring Anita Gillette, circa 1981. Gillette may be most recognizable as Tina Fey's mom on 30 ROCK or as Mona, the mistress in Moonstruck. She is a Broadway veteran with 14 Broadway shows to her credit, including Chapter Two (Tony Nomination), Cabaret, Carnival, Gypsy, Guys & Dolls, Don't Drink The Water, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Showboat. Off-Broadway and Regional credits include The Big Meal (Lortel Nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress), Love, Loss & What I Wore, The Seagull, Shirley Valentine, My Fair Lady, The Winslow Boy, Irene, South Pacific, Sweet Bird Of Youth, The Great Waltz (recorded for RCA), and Knickerbocker Holiday.
