Walter McBride As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held just yesterday in Shubert Alley, hosted by Darren Criss who is currently playing Hedwig in the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a 12-piece live orchestra, including many of this year's 2015 Tony Award - nominated plays and musicals! As BroadwayWorld reported over the weekend, Anne Meara passed away on Saturday. She was 85. Meara appeared in five Broadway shows and was Tony-nominated for her performance as Marthy Owen in ANNA CHRISTIE in 1992, opposite Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson.

Ghostlight Records recorded the Original Cast Album of the hit, headline-making Off-Broadway musical Clinton The Musical yesterday, Tuesday, May 19 for release later this year. The production has book, music and lyrics byPaul Hodge, book by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, and was directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges with musical direction by James Dobinson and orchestrations by Neil Douglas Reilly. Clinton The Musical is produced by Kari Lynn Hearn of CoolChic Productions, and Executive Produced by Ken Davenport. The recording will be produced by Dean Sharenow. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, legendary singer and guitarist B.B. King, known as the 'King of the Blues' passed away on May 14th in Las Vegas at the age of 89. The news was announced by his attorney. On May 1st, King revealed that he had entered hospice care after being in poor health for an extended period.
