According to Variety, The CW has picked up Rob Thomas' television adaptation of IZOMBIE for a second season.

According to Variety, CBS has officially ordered its high-profile SUPERGIRL project to series.The project is the network's first order for the 2015-16 television season.

NBC Sports Group presents a pair of Stanley Cup Playoff Eastern Conference matchups tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. ET on USA Network, when P.K. An all-new THEATER TALK welcomes back show favorite and leading lady Helen Mirren, currently starring on Broadway as Queen Elizabeth II in Peter Morgan's new play The Audience – now rivaling big musicals for its more-than-million-dollar weekly grosses at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. NBCUniversal's Hispanic Enterprises and Content announced the appointment of Ana Salas Siegel to General Counsel.  Salas Siegel will report to Joe Uva, Chairman, Hispanic Enterprises and Content and Kimberley D. Harris, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, NBCUniversal, and will start on Monday, June 1st.  

 In a special edition of NBC's Dateline, NBC News' Tom Brokaw opens up for the first time on primetime television about his emotional journey battling cancer, and his powerful new memoir, “A Lucky Life, Interrupted.” From the revelation that he had multiple myeloma in 2013, a treatable but incurable blood cancer, to his doctor visits and treatments, Brokaw chronicles his difficult, and ultimately rewarding, road to remission. Brokaw also details the serious setbacks and challenges he faced, taking viewers through his stages of regret, acceptance, hope, and above all, gratitude. “Tom Brokaw: A Lucky Life Interrupted” airs Thursday, May 7 at 10pm/9c.

E! announced today the greenlight of two new series, “Just Jillian” and “The Comment Section,” in addition to five original series in development rooted in celebrity and pop culture.  The announcement comes on the heels of E! delivering significant ratings growth and success last month, which included finishing +29% ahead of April 2014 in primetime among A18-49.  E! was also one of only six top 30 networks to deliver growth in primetime in April, and one of only three networks to see double digit lifts.

 Christopher Titus returns to Comedy Central with the uncensored world television premiere of “Christopher Titus: The Angry Pursuit of Happiness” debuting on Saturday, May 9 at Midnight ET/PT.

According to Variety, Will Poulter has been tapped to play the evil clown 'Pennywise' in Cary Fukunaga's upcoming remake of Stephen King's classic horror novel IT. Fukunaga's and Chase Palmer wrote the film's script.

 For the first time ever, USA Network will give audiences the opportunity to watch the pilot of its award-winning upcoming dramatic thriller MR. ROBOT with Spanish language subtitles.  Starting May 27, through premiere, the pilot will be available with Spanish subtitles across On Demand platforms including Xfinity On Demand and YouTube.  And from May 27 through June 5, the pilot will be offered on Hispanic sites including Telemundo.com, Terra.com and Latina.com.  The series premiere will also be simulcast on sister cable network NBC UNIVERSO with subtitles on June 24 at 10/9c.

 Kentucky-native and well-known actress Ashley Judd will be the voice of the show open for the Kentucky Derby this Saturday, May 2 on NBC.

FX Networks has ordered the drama pilot Snowfall from award-winning filmmaker John Singleton, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. Singleton will direct the pilot based on a script he co-wrote with Eric Amadio. Production will begin this summer. Dave Andron (Justified) will serve as an Executive Producer.

NEWSical The Musical producer Tom D'Angora, who was very active in Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign, is back on the campaign trail - this time with a little support from the cast of NEWsical! In a new youtube video the cast of NEWSical, with their celebrity impressions, help D'Angora with his fundraising efforts.
