The fourth annual TeenNick HALO Awards was held today and will air as a 90-minute special premiering Monday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), on Nick at Nite, with an encore Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 10 p.m. (ET) on TeenNick. Conceived, hosted and executive-produced by Cannon, the awards show recognizes and celebrates real teens who are 'Helping and Leading Others' (HALO).

Also on Monday night, each couple will dance a dance style they have not yet danced to a theme which was chosen for them by another couple on last week's Results Show.

Announced today, the title of this year's Doctor Who Christmas special is The Snowmen. A new companion, a new look for the Doctor, plus a new monster will all be introduced in this movie-scale episode.Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and introducing Jenna-Louise Coleman as new companion Clara, The Snowmen follows their adventures as they embark on a mission to save Christmas from the villainous Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant, The Iron Lady, Dracula) and his army of icy snowmen. This year's Doctor Who Christmas special premieres Tuesday, December 25, 9:00pm ET/PT on BBC AMERICA.

MTV has started development on BLACKWOOD, a drama based upon the young adult novel by Gwenda Bond. Kelsey Grammer's Grammnet Produdctions will take on the series alongside Lionsgate Television. Peter Calloway (BROTHERS & SISTERS) will pen the script.

Music superstar and business entrepreneur, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson today announced the launch of his latest business venture, SMS Promotions, a boxing promotions company which was recently granted promoters license by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
