Following the October announcement that Tyler Perry had signed a multi-year exclusive partnership with OWN, the network has announced they have put two of Perry's pitches into production. Perry will write, direct, and produce the two series, a drama and a comedy.

Discovery Channel's MOONSHINERS broke series viewership records on Wednesday with 3.43 million viewers. Currently in its second season, this marks the largest viewership in the history of the series. The series premiere of AMISH MAFIA brought in 3.64 million viewers which increased total viewership in HH and total viewers P2+ from Tuesday's sneak peek premiere. The shows were the #1 and #2 cable programs among HH, P2+, P18+, P/M25-54, P/M18-49 delivery. Additionally, Discovery Channel was the #1 network on cable in Prime Time evening in total viewers P2+, HH, P/M18+, P/M/W 25-54, P/M18-49 and P/M18-34 ratings and delivery.

NBC's reality competition series 'Fashion Star' will premiere its second season on Friday, March 8, 2013 (8-9 p.m. ET). TV Land has ordered a second season of 'The Soul Man' starring Cedric 'The Entertainer' and Niecy Nash and picked up a third season of 'The Exes,' it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land. 'The Soul Man,' which debuted in June of this year, was the channel's second highest rated original series premiere following only the series launch of 'Hot in Cleveland' in June 2010.

Following Disney's announcement of a spin-off of the hit 1990s sitcom BOY MEETS WORLD, featuring original stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, fans have been heralding behind a full-cast reunion on the sequel series. Today, Trina McGee, who played 'Angela Moore' on the series, confirmed she was open to appearing on the spin-off, GIRL MEETS WORLD.
