According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedy goddess Tina Fey is officially in talks to take on a lead role in Disney's upcoming MUPPETS sequel.

MTV today unveiled MTV Artist to Watch, a new pro-artist and music discovery initiative and campaign across all of MTV's television channels, websites and social networks. To kick off the campaign, MTV has revealed its selections for the 13 artists to watch in 2013, as well as a concert in New York.

This month, CMT will debut six one-hour episodes of SWAMP PAWN, a new docu-series following Rick Phillips of Phillips Swamp Seafood in Bayou Pigeon, Louisiana. Not your typical pawnshop, Phillips Swamp Seafood buys and sells anything the bayou serves up -- including alligators, turtles, bullfrogs, crawfish, and everything in between. Phillips and a colorful cast of neighboring "swampers" make their living fishing, hunting and haggling in this tiny, self-sustaining community deep in the heart of the bayou. SWAMP PAWN will premiere on Saturday, January 26 at 10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., ET/PT, immediately following the season premiere of MY BIG REDNECK VACATION.

Muse Entertainment, in association with ABC Family, will begin production this week on the new original Thanksgiving movie "Home Again" (working title). Jennie Garth ("Beverly Hills, 90210," "What I Like About You") and Cameron Mathison ("Dancing with the Stars," "All My Children," "Good Morning America") will star in the movie, which is set to premiere as part of the network's annual "Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas" programming event in November, 2013. A brand new TV spot for Disney's fantastical adventure OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL have been released to The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide. Universal has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette of the upcoming film MAMA, produced by Guillermo Del Toro. The supernatural thriller stars Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain, currently making her Broadway debut in 'The Heiress,' and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The film hits theaters on January 18th. The return of GATOR BOYS on Animal Planet sunk its teeth into Sunday night! The season two opener, 'Mississippi or Bust,' captured 1.3M P2+ viewers and is the series' most-watched episode among P25-54 (641K), P18-49 (633K), M25-54 (351K) and W25-54 (290K).

Across the first week of January 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Total Day delivery of boys 6-11, & 9-14, and #1 in Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 9-14. Scoring double-digit delivery gains compared the same week in 2012, Total Day delivery of kids 2-11 grew by 20%, kids 6-11 by 33% and kids 9-14 by 33%.

Rumors of X FACTOR judge Britney Spears exiting the show have run rampant in recent weeks, with sources saying one thing, and Fox execs saying another. Today, Fox chairman Kevin Reilly spoke about the upcoming third season of THE X FACTOR at the TCA, and claims that neither he nor Simon Cowell have discussed potential openings on the judge's panel (aside from L.A. Reid, who will most definitely not be back).
