Katie Couric announced today that 'Katie' will travel to Los Angeles to tape five shows originating from Disney's El Capitan Theater, home to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' in the heart of Los Angeles' star-studded Walk of Fame. Couric will broadcast her syndicated daytime talk show in front of a studio audience, and has planned a full week of back-to-back stars including:

Two Who Dared: The Sharps' War, a documentary film that was ten years in the making, is being released through a grassroots effort at churches, synagogues and theaters worldwide and will premiere at the Boston International Film Festival. TWO WHO DARED tells the story of a Unitarian minister, Waitstill Sharp and his wife Martha who, just days prior to the Nazi invasion of Czechoslovakia, left their young children in Wellesley, Massachusetts to help save thousands being persecuted in Eastern Europe. Novak has officially signed a seven-figure book deal with Alfred A. Knopf, the publisher announced today. The deal covers two-books, both works of short fiction.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION posted its best deliveries in both viewers and adults 25-54 since Jan. 23 and its best adults 18-49 rating since Feb. 6. Compared to last week, CSI was up +14% in both households (from 6.3/10) and adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07) and added +1.22m viewers (from 9.89m, +12%). Compared to the same night last year, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +14% in households, +6% in adults 25-54 and even in adults 18-49.

mtvU, MTV's 24-hour college network, today announced that it will premiere a new docu-series featuring emerging electronic dance music DJ and producer Justin Blau, who performs under the name 3LAU. “On My Way: Justin Blau” follows the DJ, who has taken time off from his finance studies at Washington University to dedicate himself to his music career, following a string of successful bootlegs that landed on the Beatport and Hype Machine charts.
