Casting directors for series and movies for the kid- and family-targeted channels Disney Channel and Disney XD have begun a talent search throughout the greater Southern California area, visiting elementary, middle and high schools, performing arts schools and academies, dance studios and after school programs in search of new talent age 10-17. Led by casting directors Rosalinda Morales ('Bread and Roses,' 'La Misma Luna' aka 'Under The Same Moon') and Pauline O'con ('24'), the search is part of Disney Channel's and Disney XD's ongoing initiative to find, cast and develop diverse young actors, singers and dancers and provide them opportunities to showcase their talent across Disney platforms.

Longtime FX Networks executives Nick Grad, Eric Schrier and Chuck Saftler each have been promoted to the position of President as the company embarks on its planned expansion this fall. Making the announcement was John Landgraf, Chief Executive Officer of FX Networks and FX Productions, to whom they will report.

More than 3.4 million total viewers tuned in for the live telecast and encore, with an increase among Women 18-49 (+3%); and the live Red Carpet show posted double-digit gains, up +50% over last year. The show also delivered triple-digit growth in streaming, up +101% on CMT.com over last year, and +118% over last year on CMT Mobile. Ratings are up overall for CMT this quarter, with Prime up +57% over the same time period last year.

Henry Cavill, who stars in the title role of the upcoming action adventure film 'Man of Steel' from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, will make a special appearance in Lancaster to welcome the men and women of Edwards Air Force Base to a special advance screening of the movie on Saturday, June 8. Cavill will introduce the film and greet the military in attendance, many of whom played extras in the movie, a portion of which was shot on the base.
