Ovation, America's only arts network, has launched season two of its original music profile series, Music Mavericks. The series looks at major figures in rock and pop music and their impact on popular culture. Using interviews, news archives, and performance footage, each 30-minute episode reveals the unique aspects of the iconic artist profiled. Music Mavericks airs weekly Sunday nights at 7 pm ET.

Production has begun on TV Land's newest sitcom pilot, 'Younger,' starring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster ('Bunheads') Hilary Duff ('Lizzie McGuire'), Debi Mazar ('Entourage') and Miriam Shor ('GCB'). The single-camera project, which is written, executive produced and directed by Darren Star ('Sex and the City'), is based on the novel 'Younger' by Pamela Redmond Satran. Patricia Field, who worked with Star on 'Sex and the City,' will be a costume consultant on the production.

Producers and writing partners Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer have signed on to Syfy's new supernatural dramaDominion as Executive Producers and to be co-Showrunners along with Executive Producer Vaun Wilmott, the channel announced today. The series is from Universal Cable Productions and Bold Films, and is slated to premiere on Syfy in June of this year.

AMC today announced that it had greenlit a docu-series focused on the inaugural season of the LA KISS arena football league team. The show, which will follow dedicated players and coaches trying to turn LA's first professional football team in years into a winning franchise, will also feature owners Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, of KISS fame, along with long-time manager, Doc McGhee.

Disney Channel and Disney XD stars team up with kid contestants to compete and win prizes in a battle of drawing skills, creativity and wits, in Disney Channel's new game show 'Disney's Win, Lose or Draw.' Universal Pictures has just confirmed to ComingSoon.net that both Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will return for the sequel to the surprise hit 2012 musical comedy PITCH PERFECT. Elizabeth Banks is set to direct, with Kay Cannon also returning to pen the script.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today plans to present Art of the Real, a new documentary-as-art series to take place April 11-26. Formerly a monthly series highlighting independent documentary at the Film Society, Art of the Real is being relaunched as an annual nonfiction showcase founded on the most expansive possible view of documentary film. The complete lineup will be announced next month.
