Tyler Hinton

Tyler Hinton has been a contributing editor at BroadwayWorld since January 2012. He has a BA from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Theatre Studies. In the past, he has written for the BYU Daily Universe and the Connersville (Ind.) News-Examiner. In addition to reviewing, he has extensive experience with many aspects of theatre, including writing, producing, directing, music directing, designing, singing, acting, marketing, publicity, and operations.

Favorite Show:

Some of my favorite theatre-going experiences include seeing the original casts of ANASTASIA in Hartford (2016) and SHREK THE MUSICAL in Seattle (2008) for their pre-Broadway tryouts, as well as being front row center for both DEATH OF A SALESMAN on Broadway with Philip Seymour Hoffman/Andrew Garfield (2012) and the MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG revival at New York Theatre Workshop (2022). Other favorite shows include RAGTIME, PARADE, LITTLE WOMEN, and LEGALLY BLONDE.
