A Tuesday morning in September, a transatlantic flight from Paris to Dallas is unexpectedly rerouted, and the passengers aren’t told where they are landing. Parked on the tarmac for hours, the mini liquor bottles are exhausted, all the in-flight films are watched, and passengers are itchy to breathe fresh air, stretch their legs, and to know, what is going on?

If you have an affinity for elf culture, don’t be a cotton headed ninny muggins and miss Elf the Musical at The Forum Theatre, running through December 23rd. Endearing and twinkly, this show has everything on your holiday wish list, if smiling is your favorite.

A coming-of-age story set in the tumultuous music scene of the 1960s, with a frank look into the brutally ambitious side of show business. The journey of a wide-eyed singing trio from Chicago, The Dreamettes, hoping to find stardom. They travel to The Apollo Theatre to try their luck in a talent competition.
