Halloween is right around the corner, and while this year is unfortunately not the eventful weekend of costume parties and trick-o-treating that we know and love, that doesn’t mean that you still can’t dress up.

With just two weeks away until election day, there is no day but today to make sure you don’t throw away your shot at utilizing your right to vote.

As I read some more about it, I learned there would be a live-aired Passover Seder featuring some of my favorite performers including Ben Platt, Indian Menzel, and Northwestern alum Adam Kantor. 

The Freshman Musical: one of Northwestern's most epic traditions (aka the one time of freshman year when first year students can finally step out from their menial assistant roles and finally have a shot at running the show themselves).

In the least creepy way possible, one of the things Ia??m best at is sneaking into places where I *probably* shouldna??t be. Leta??s take it back to June 2017. 

It is way past time we normalize crying- especially during times when we are expected to be happy.

With the lights dimmed and the music filling my living room, I couldn't help but tear up as I yearned for the experience of live theatre that used to be such a constant in my life. 

More than ever before, the past few months have made me realize how much work I have to do on my own as a white female, and specifically, a white female in theater, to combat the racial injustices that line our country's past and present.

I have expressed to my friends how grateful I am that even though my hometown may not be as educated and vocal about the systemic racism deeply rooted in our country, at least my school friends are.
