As the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) continues to permeate various facets of education, its impact on academic dishonesty has become a subject of intense scrutiny. The advent of advanced technologies has not only transformed the learning landscape but has also presented novel challenges in maintaining academic integrity.
This past semester, I had a packed schedule. Between participating in two musicals, taking classes at a community college as well as at my high school, and applying to colleges, my brain was all over the place. Throughout this whole semester, my burnout occurred in phases. Sometimes it was manageable and sometimes…it was bad.

My first quarter as a senior just came to an end and what a ride it was. While I am blessed to have a partial schedule, I am currently enrolled as an ECAP (Early College Access Program) student at Anne Arundel Community College, taking courses in Spanish and Political Science. Balancing both my high school classes and my college classes have been challenging.
I have been involved in theater for many years now, both onstage and off. Through theater, I have created long-lasting friendships and gained many positive experiences that have shaped who I am today. Looking back on my childhood, I am eternally grateful that my parents enrolled me in dance classes, acting intensives, and vocal lessons when I was younger because I found something I was truly passionate about.
The first few weeks of the semester have been a little stressful, as I am readjusting to having to balance school, theater, and maintaining a social life.
