Why am I already hopeful for a stage version?

My Spotify Wrapped every year has too much Broadway to be shown in public, but I felt that this is the appropriate forum to share my showtune-centric Spotify Wrapped.

It’s no secret that, in my family, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is of utmost importance to me on Turkey Day.

At my high school, every show we performed was recorded and every mom bought the DVD during intermission (including mine).

When the inevitable topic of the pandemic arises, I have to remember that, wow, I haven’t been to a musical since March.

MTV’s special of Legally Blonde: The Musical just celebrated its 13th birthday this past week. When I saw this all over BWW, I was filled with nostalgia. I have something to confess. I’ve watched this MTV special over 300 times. 

What I wouldna??t give to be in the room where Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus weaved a heart-warming story with 18 classic ABBA songs to create such summer cinematic perfection?

These are by no means all of the spooky songs out there, but these are the ones that give me those shivers of creepiness (Patrick Page, Ia??m looking at you). a??a??a??a??a??a??a??

Over the 2019 winter break, I defied my parents and decided I wanted to go to New York after Christmas.

Here are ten of my favorite dance numbers, and trust me, I know Ia??m missing some. And yes, many of these probably involve some kind of tap dance component. I have no shame.

For those who dona??t live close enough to the bright lights of Broadway, regional theatres are the next best thing.
