I'm currently a rising senior at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, studying for an undergraduate degree in Theater Preformance and Film. I have over 6 years of experience in theatrical acting, and am just beginning to stretch my muscles in film acting. From Shakespeare, to modern takes on classics such as Dracula, I am always eager to further establish myself in new and innovative roles. The same goes for the shows I enjoy watching. I always love a show that challanged the norms of theater that we all know and love. I'll take a brechtian comedy any day. In my free time you can find me writing, painting, making jewelry, reading, watching movies, playing DnD... you get the gist. I've been told I have a decent sense of humor, but I don't really see it. Has anyone seen my glasses? This is my first time as a student blogger, so I'm excited to express my love for the arts through writing!
Conservatory Program, University, Self-Tapes, Sleep. I'm sure these are all things that we as artists consider at some point within our career. But what if there's another, lesser-known option, the liberal arts. What is it like attending a small, liberal Arts school? What even is a liberal arts school? Well, I'm glad you asked.
