I wanted to talk a little bit about what I thought about the show and what I think will transfer well, my dream cast, and some of the differences between a film adaptation and a proshot. 

This semester will be my second to last semester on campus at the University of Illinois.

It’s become clear during the pandemic that the performing arts have made a significant pivot financially and creatively.

The live film adaptation in my opinion is the thing us musical theatre geeks have been waiting for all of quarantine.

It’s no surprise that being a theatre major, our finals will look a little bit different this year due to the pandemic.

Dear Krannert Center, I miss you.

I had been studying classical voice and musical theatre in high school and I thought why not? Funny enough, I had never heard of the program, let alone the University of Illinois, even though it was a Big 10 school. So I applied to their voice program. 

For this blog post, I thought it would be interesting to find interview questions online for actresses and try to answer them. So, here goes! 

When I woke up this morning, I opened Facebook to see that the Broadway shutdown had been extended until early January.
