Dylan Kerr is a Chicago/Boston-based performer and choreographer. Career highlights include: Dance Captain - Mamma Mia at Marblehead Little Theatre, directed by Steve Black (2019 EMACT DASH award winner for Best Musical). Choreographer - Goosebumps the Musical (East Coast Premiere) at Boston Children’s Theatre. Choreographer - Annie Jr. at Boston Children’s Theatre. Dance Supervisor - Tales of Berlin at Columbia College Chicago, directed by Carin Silkaitis. Featured Performer - 2019 New Stew at Columbia College Chicago, directed by Justin Brill. Alice/Jessica - Twilight (Reading) at Random Act’s Chicago, directed by Bryan Renaud. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance at Columbia College Chicago. She is a member of the CCC Student Theatre Advisory Council and was the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 recipient of the Jim Jacobs Musical Theatre Award.

As I approach Junior year, I have no idea what lies in my path-- but that doesn't mean there aren't a million question marks that lie ahead of me. I would be lying if I said I wasn't anxious about what is to come, but if it's anything like the last two years, I'm in for a fantastic wild ride.

The only occupants of the dance studios and the audition rooms were the tumbleweeds of crumpled sheet music and forgotten ballet tights. Our muscles grew tighter and our stamina grew weaker. An entire industry…noiseless. In May of 2021, a switch was flipped. The marquees turned back on and all eyes went to the actors. The time we had been craving had finally come, but as I sat in my Chicago apartment staring at my tripod I had to ask myself, “Am I ready?”
