I absolutely had to write about it again because I have exciting news. Guess what… The original cast recording is being released on all platforms February 12, 2021!

Ah, the holidays. Every year come late November, we BFA college students enter a sedentary period known as: winter break.

I suppose that I thought, “This isn’t something that actually happens. This can’t possibly be as big of a deal as it is being made out to be. The world will not stop turning.” But then it did.

With the start of the new school year comes a new generation of passionate high school seniors getting ready to audition for the top BFA Musical Theatre programs across the country.

Matt Copley, who graduated from the BFA Musical Theatre program at CCM this spring, conceptualized and wrote an original musical during his senior year.

Ah, summer reading: the assignment that nobody asked for, yet everyone received. So, here I am today giving you that same unprecedented assignment of summer reading, but with a twist!

In the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry each summer, there exists a place of creativity, growth, and passion. This place is called the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute, or SSTI for short.

I am excited to share with you my adventures at CCM, and the incredible impacts that this program has made on my life.
