Student Blogger: Ani Kabillio

Ani Kabillio, a native of New York City, has been performing since the age of 4 years old. Ani began her theatre journey by playing roles such as Liesel in the Birdhouse Players production  of The Sound of Music at the ripe and continued to play starring/supporting roles in a variety of shows with theatre companies such as Kidz Theatre, Applause and a leading role in LaGuardia High School production of All Shook Up. Ani attended LaGuardia High School where she earned a degree in Vocal Performance and whilst being there she was a part of the esteemed and highly competitive New Music Ensemble, in which she and her peers composed original music. Ani used her guitar skills (which she began to nourish at the age of 14) to accompany herself and continues to write music. Ani now studies theatre at the highly esteemed Northwestern University where she's pursuing the acting sequence. She is also a playwright, screenwriter, and short story writer. Along with theatre, she plans to pursue a dual degree in creative writing!
